After finishing my degree in graphic design at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Barcelona and textile design course, “Surface design pattern with Rachel Kelly”, at Central Saint Martins in London, I started my carreer as a graphic designer by the hand of VANHISE studio in Barcelona (BCN, NYC) in 2007. My work was focused on projects of corporate identity for clients like IBM, the Hotel Regina, Hotel Pullitzer and the development of Carrie Van Hise’s personal projects. A few years later, I started working in Mandaruixa, where I was given the opportunity to develope my interest in editorial design, exposition design and mixing different design disciplines, working with clients such as Random House Mondadori, Caixa Catalunya Banc, Institut Ramón Llull and the Cadaqués Orchestra. After that, I spent a couple of years working as a freelancer, working for clients like Orée Keyboards (France), Custo Barcelona fashion label, Maribel Franco and also working on different personal projects. Later, I was offered a place to work in a studio specialized in Branding and Packaging in Barcelona, called LATERAL BRANDING, with them I was able to work for clients such as Amatller Chocolates, Barcelona, Simon Coll, Raimat wine... basically chocolate, wine and cava brands. In this studio I learned a strong work methodology inspired in the era of Bauhaus, beautiful and functional.

Currently I am working in my own studio in the Poblenou district of Barcelona, where I develope art direction projects, graphic design and illustration specialized in cosmetic medicine and fashion. My personal fascination is based on the world of interiorism and patterns, this is why I am currently creating a new brand of patterned sheets for glass surfaces called “MOTIU LIVING PATTERNS” inspired in the catalan modernist mosaics. Also, in the field of fashion, I am developing a sort of “lifestyle”, a way of doing things that I named “MAKELOVELOVEMAKE”. They developed as object some bags "take away stories", will soon be for sale.

Motiu sheets are handmade to order one to three days and available for shipping anywhere around the globe. North American orders are shipped by expedited parcel service and take 5-9 business days.
